Israeli Startup Raises $15 Million in Funding from Insight Partners
BY LOUISE STEVENS, WENRIX / OCTOBER 31, 2025 / TEL AVIV
Israeli startup Wenrix, a company specializing in flight ticket price prediction, today announced $15 million in Series B funding, led by global software investor Insight Partners, one of the largest and most prominent investors in the Israeli tech sector. The new funding round took place a year and a half after the company’s previous round with all previous leading investors.
Wenrix develops unique technology that can predict flight ticket prices and offer them significantly cheaper than their current market price. The company has developed an algorithm that can predict the optimal timing for purchasing flight tickets at a lowest price. For over 5 years, Wenrix has been enhancing the capabilities of its AI products by processing over five billion airfare data points daily, which are used to train the prediction models. Wenrix generates separate models for each market, airline, and agency to maximize performance with an accuracy of over 97%. The results of these models are used to power the Wenrix revenue optimization products, generating significant revenue for the company’s customers and discounts for the travelers.
“Wenrix AI technology makes it a stand out in the ticket and travel market with its unique algorithm that processes billions of data points. We have great belief in the company, its management, and its ability to continue exceeding expectations and reaching the next product stage that will significantly disrupt the flight ticket purchasing world. We look forward to partnering with Wenrix as they continue to grow and scale up.”
— LIAD AGMON, MANAGING PARTNER, INSIGHT PARTNERS
This funding round adds to the company’s success after signing a strategic agreement approximately a year and a half ago with Trip.com Group, one of the world’s top two largest travel groups, which also owns Skyscanner.
“The business results we have achieved in the past two years are directly attributable to the strategy we adopted during the pandemic. We were fortunate that while revenues dropped to zero and there were many voices calling for slowing down, we had the option and chose to push forward. With the support of our shareholders, we continued to develop the product and technology significantly, deepening our competitive advantage over other players.”
