As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will have a key role in building a complex platform that enables innovative solutions for the travel industry. Define and build the infrastructure and products that will enable Wenrix to push our state-of-art airfare optimization products.


What Will You Do?

  • Work on hyper-growing production volume
  • Analyze, improve, and scale our systems' performance, scalability, and stability

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and deepen Wenrix's most important enterprise relationships. This is a senior, strategic and commercial role with a lot of room to grow within Wenrix. You will be the primary executive partner for our Tier 1 accounts, responsible for retention, expansion, and turning customers into long-term growing partners for Wenrix.

The right person for this role is someone who builds genuine trust at the top management and C-suite level, thinks in multi-year account trajectories, and understands how to translate complex  and different technologies into clear business value. What Will You Do?

  • Serve as the point of contact and trusted advisor for Wenrix's tier-1 enterprise accounts.
  • Hunter mentality owning revenue and growth targets across a portfolio of Tier 1 accounts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans that deepen relationships, demonstrate measurable ROI, and expand Wenrix's products and coverage within each customer.
  • Lead regular executive business reviews (QBRs) with top management, aligning Wenrix's roadmap and solutions with each customer's long-term strategic goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solution Architects, Product, and Technical teams to ensure execution and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally - surfacing critical insights and feedback that directly shape the product roadmap.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years experience in strategic account management, consistently exceeding sales targets, or similar senior client-facing roles with direct Tier 1/enterprise account responsibility.
  • Proven track record of retaining, growing, and expanding complex enterprise accounts - with measurable results.
  • Exceptional executive presence: you are comfortable and credible in the room with C-level and senior leadership at global organizations.
  • Strong business intuition and the ability to connect complex fintech or travel tech solutions to strategic customer outcomes.
  • Tech-savvy with solid analytical skills - you can work fluently with data, product teams, and technical concepts.
  • Experience in the travel industry, TMC ecosystem, airline distribution, or fintech is a significant advantage.
  • Highly strategic, independent, and resourceful - you thrive with ownership and don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
